Briot to launch new era in finishing technology at Vision Expo West
Briot, a brand of the Luneau Technology Group is pleased to announce the launch of the Attitude, a new edging system that unveils advanced new technology with features geared towards increasing ease of use and broadening the scope of capabilities for opticians. Key new features include state of the art tracing technology, faster centering and blocking, a new motor capable of maximum speed with minimal noise, simplified drilling administration and shape modification, a color coded data input system to minimize errors, and the addition of patented Shack-Hartmann wavefront power mapping technology.
Briot, brand of Luneau Technology Group is pleased to announce that its Briot ATTITUDE edging, micro edging and milling system is the winner of the 2015 Silmo d’Or in the category "materials and equipment".
Wavefront, Visionix technology, integrated in the new Briot Attitude marks the renewal of the range with an undeniable technological leadership, recognized by experts of optics.
Much more than the Wavefront technology, Briot Attitude brings together the best group’s technologies improving the ease of use and the capabilities of the optician.
The TrueScan technology featured in the Attitude is a step above anything previously brought to market not only by Briot, but by any competitors. This technology makes tracing faster, works with less pressure on the frame, and also features a unique “Goose-Neck” Stylus principle which enables perpendicular-frame-to-groove tracing during the entire tracing cycle, regardless of the frame base curve.
The best tracing technology needs the best finishing technology being able to process correctly the lenses to fit into the frame. We focused 2 years on the development of this new Edger, to redesign the motor and include new finishing.
