A Sustainable Development Process certified as “French Origin Guaranteed.”

All industrial activities in edging have been transferred to the French sites to allow access to more resources.  By choosing to keep production in France, Luneau Technology has adopted a sustainable development process which preserves jobs, the environment, quality and competitiveness.

An example of responsible production is this label. One part of the activities (edging) is done on the French sites and by choosing to keep production in France, Luneau Technology has adopted a sustainable development process which preserves jobs, environment, quality and competitiveness.

This process is certified by the Bureau Veritas Certification which has granted the French Origin Guaranteed label to the Alta and eMOTION Briot equipment lines. This label provides clear, straight forward information regarding the origin of the product, and where it was manufactured.

Diagram covering 4 points:

  • French made: A Social Responsibility.
By buying our products, opticians not only make a purchase for themselves, but contribute to preserving the jobs of tomorrow in their country. This purchase also supports indirect jobs for our suppliers.
  • French made: Limiting the Environmental Impact
By choosing to give priority to French suppliers, Luneau Technology reduces the impact caused by transport.
  • French made: Preserving Quality
Luneau Technology's requirements with respect to its suppliers are particularly strict: accuracy, reliability and reactivity with respect to small and average size series and technically complex parts are key factors for success.
  • French made: Remaining Competitive
Contrary to what is generally believed, sub-contracting to low-cost countries integrates costs generated by the relocation, transport, storage, monitoring and quality. Once these related costs have been taken into account, the French product can still be competitive and thus preserve innovation and quality our customers have come to rely on.
